I started my professional life with a degree in Computer Information Systems. It was exciting to be one of the few who understood how computers worked, and I enjoyed helping others make sense of new technology.

After several years working in tech support, database management, and other jobs, I realized it was time to make my creative side professional as well.

Eventually, I earned a BA in English and worked for several years as a writer for Hallmark. Now, as a Creative Freelance Writer, I write and edit web content and help others compose their memoirs and other projects.

I believe that we enrich the world around us when we are willing to listen and care for one another. I enjoy using my writing profession to imagine, inform, communicate, and connect.
